Wasan began her professional journey in 2007 as a Chemistry Teacher and Coordinator at Amina bint Wahb Secondary School. In 2014, she took on the role of Research Advisor at the College of the North Atlantic – Qatar. In 2016, she joined Teach For Qatar as a Science Program Manager, and in 2023, she transitioned to Head of Outreach Department. In her current role, Wasan focuses on enhancing the organization’s corporate responsibility to foster positive change within the Qatari society. She actively engages with various community groups, including students, teachers, educators, and leaders, to drive professional development and build meaningful impact. Wasan also organizes specialized training sessions in leadership and technical fields, empowering individuals to excel in their leadership and professional pathways.
Wasan graduated in 2005 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Baghdad, which laid a solid foundation for her professional career. Besides being an iLM-certified trainer, accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management in the United Kingdom, Wasan is also a practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and a qualified life coach certified by the Global Horizon Training Center. She is also certified as a Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) Practitioner and a Leadership and Coaching Framework Practitioner through the Canadian Global Center and iLM. Furthermore, in 2023, Wasan completed a Strategic Leadership Certification at the University of Toronto in Canada.
